Setup OpenVPN on iPhone, Android

OpenVPN can be configured to operate on Apple iDevices and Android phones and tablets. Different firmware versions of these devices may or may not be compatible. The easiest way to find out if your version is compatible give it a try.

There are many features not enabled in OpenVPN Connect. We don’t provide support for this software and only include the instructions below should you want to experiment with it.

Email us for the special configuration files needed to set this up.

Apple iOS devices

Get OpenVPN connect from the app store.

Download the configuration files we provided. Save them to a folder on your computer. Then extract the zip file.

The best way to get the files on your iDevice is to email them to yourself. You will have to email each file you wish to install separately. Below is what will appear in your email when you receive it.

Touch the image and you will see this.

Now touch ‘Open in OpenVPN’

It will open the application and you will see this image.

Touch the green plus sign and the next image will appear.
